how's your FLIRTY 'look'?

Let's say you really, really like this person and you wanted to get noticed, what would you do?

A. Dress up and get preppy
B. Be his/her stalker
C. Throw him/her a flirtatious 'look'
D. All of the above

Mine's a C. If I actually got the balls for it. Hehehe! But if I do, I'll give it a try and give something like this...
Flirtatious doesn't really have to be like "oh come on and get me baby" kind of look right? My definition of that is like be cute and fun and reserved in a way. Though I don't usually do the actual lookin at the guy in front of me and throwing it like that. I'm super shy in person but hey, I'm quite a different guy on the net. Perhaps my non-verbal kind of way of flirting is through posting pics of me on my blog site or in my Multiply and Friendster account. Click, click , click and presto, I got some pretty nice pics. Cool! I got some messages here and there (kidding)! But I do get some good feedbacks on those "looks" and for me it's like my kind of way of flirting.

To try out your flirting "skills", give it a shot at Extreme Style by VO5's Ultimate Flirting Championship! It really is a fun, fun game! You get to make your avatar image there and play with other three players. The mechanics is that you'll have to answer in 30 seconds the questions to be given by the judges (by the way, you can be the judge too) in your best pick up line or your own sexy flirty line. The primary goal here is to OUTflirt your opponent in the game! Hehehe! Of course the judge will choose the winner and who will get his/her Victory Hair! Trust me, you will enjoy this one.

another ProjRunway5 post...

Well, I just knew that it already started (thnx again to angie) so this one is a bit of a late review. But hey, nothing's too late for something this good.

Contestants were introduced though the casting part was not showed. I see some interesting ones and some that right from the start you can tell that won't make it. Some good looking male designers (Keith Bryce and Wesley Nault), some got their own unique and bizzare styles ("Suede", Stella Zotis), people of color (Korto Momoru, Terri Stevens, Jerry Tam, and Blayne Walsh [sqeeze in his tan]), some season 4 counterparts (Jerell Scott the former model male version, Kelli Martin the younger version of Sweet P., and Daniel Feld who looks like Mario from season 1), and finally the mousey "silent assasins" (Leanne Marshall, Emily Brandale, Jennifer Diederich). Others that I didn't mention (one or two of 'em) are just a blah for me as of now. No faves yet but I do think that what Kelli did was really nice.

INNOVATION. That's the word for this week's challenge just like season 1's first challenge. Project Runway's definition of this word is to do something out of the ordinary and traditional. It means that they want to see some weird stuff put on those dresses that actually looks pretty, nice and wearable. Apparently, I think more than half of the designers primarily used table cloth which is not good for this challenge. Kelli won by using the vacum cleaner papers and some coffee paper filters. Austin Scarlet (which is by the way their guest judge because of winning this challenge 4 seasons back) was quite impressed with Kelli's techniques and details which was agreed by Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.

for a second I thought this is Jaslene

All in all I think this season would be equally exciting as the past ones. Heidi is looking fierce as usual (as if she never given birth yet) and Tim is in his usual attire and looking fine. Hmmm...I just wish that Project Runway Philippines could do justice to the show (unlike that crappy PNTM...UGH!).

lovely ASPERGER wedding...

YEY! Heather of ANTM9's getting work! Here are some of the spread that she got in the Wedding Essentials July issue.

You've got to admit, she really got IT (regardless of the asperger syndrome that is). I'm so proud of you girl!

the dark knight, the mummy, or wall-e?

Darn it! Haven't seen any of these three but I think I'll see Wall-e first! Me and my "special someone" watched a movie last week and we saw all the trailers. In one word, AMAZING! The Batman movie as you know was already out there just this week. If there's one thing that makes me super intrigued with this movie, it would have to be Heath Ledger playing the Joker. That alone, I belive, attract the movie goers. Super controversial that he was and this movie as his last appearance, I mean that's a really good reason to watch it don't you think? Such a talent and such a great loss.

The third "Mummy" movie trailer made me hold on my seat and just amazed me. Forget about the whole Egyptian mummy thing. From Egypt, they will bring us to the great ancient Chinese civilization with no less than Jet Li playing the Dragon Emperor. It is a power cast actually though I was a bit disappointed that the one to play the role of Brendan Fraser's wife (originally Rachel Weisz) was changed. Let's just see if it'll work. Just like the first two "mummy' movies, the FX are superb and the set and costumes were brought into a new level. UHHH can't wait!

Now this one's super cute! We've seen Will Smith play the "last man" on earth and we've already seen some end of the world type of movies. This time, it's the last robot. If you want something lite, funny, cool and ultra cute movie, this is IT! At first I thought that it's just your ordinary kiddie movie but hell NO it's not. Soon enough I'll be watching it in the comfort of my home. Downloaded of course! Hehehe!

There you go folks, my top three latest movies as of the moment. I just wish I can watch 'em all in the cinemas if I'll get the chance...

...revelation of an open secret...

At first I was kind of hesitant to do this entry just because of the possible outcome. Then again I thought that it doesn't really matter after all. I can tell that some people already know bout this certain "open secret" and some have at least the hint.

I believe that every person in existence have their own confinement at one point of their lives that they have to escape and breathe the air that is out there. I'm getting out of mine one step at a time and somehow it's getting better and better for me. As you might have guessed, yes, the "secret" is that I am gay. Call me whatever you want, bash me behind my back, I really don't care. If you're disturbed about it then it's your problem not mine.

I don't think that I'm one of the screaming FAGS out there. I definitely think that I'm not of that kind. I'm not saying this to deny who and what I am but dude, I'm just trying to keep it clean. Trying to get the respect that I deserve. Never ever thinking of putting on any girly clothes for the simple reason that it would make me hurl at myself. I'm just being myself, just like what you see in class or somewhere else.

Surprised? Maybe not (and I don't think so). It won't surprise me at all if more dirty looks would be thrown at me after this for I know that's just how it is. If you'll still consider me as a friend then I'll treasure that forever, if not, well it's your choice. To my dear friends who already know about this long time ago, especially to Angie and Allan, thanks a lot! It is hard to find such friends that are nothing but genuine to me and always open minded...

So, that's about it. Shoot me any questions or what so ever violent reaction and I'll be more than happy to respond on it. Count on that. The next few days after this could be pretty interesting. Let's just see...

it's yeoj b*tch...

F-A-B-O...wha...what?

One of my fave girls in the history of ANTM is this full figured (to my surprise is almost of the same size now with Tyra) girl with the biggest personality to match, Ms. Toccara Jones. If I'll ever get the chance (which I think is far from possible now) to grab one of the latest VOUGE Italia, I won't let it just pass me by. Toccara made it in the said magazine issue. Good thing is that it's not just one or two page spread but I think it's about 7 or 8. Here are some of the fab pics:

BTW, Tyra is also there striking it fierce once again. People are like why not put Alek Wek there too... Oh well, congrats to Toccara. I mean, I haven't heared of an ANTM winner to pose for this mag so kudos to you!

disambiguation...my desired things

This is a prose poem that I learned back in high school. We used to recite this at the start of our Math or English class if I'm not mistaken and it just won't get through me. Endless nose bleed that was. Now that I gained a little wisdom as time had passed, somehow I learned to take it word per word. If you feel lonely and unhappy with your life, try to read this.

Desiderata
by Max Ehrmann

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let not this blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

Random ANTM thought...

I was watching this season recap / rant by henryevilx on youtube:

And suddenly I remembered how empty the whole history of ANTM could have been without these two bizzare, unexplainably talkative, old looking, and surprisingly ultra hilarious girls : Jade and Dominique.

Name : Jade Cole.
Self-given title: The undiscovered supermodel.
Main Description: Such a diva who has her own list of vocabulary words like our very own Melanie Marquez.
Infamous line : "This is not Americas Next Top Best Friend!", "I'm a beautiful biracial butterfly", "Leftover lady, let alone the strongest to be subdued
If I only had the magic key that would unlock the realms to the plateau of the highest me
Even though I've been badly bruised, livin' in a house to become a popular muse."

Name : Dominique Reighard
Self-given title : The 'seleisha' of Cycle 10
Main Description : The most tranny lookin contestant ANTM ever had. Called Whitney a racist. Never a very close friend to anyone in the house.
Infamous line : "I wanna be freaking Mother Theresa, in a diva kindda way" (best line of the season and a nominee on best line ever said on ANTM)

There you have it, may you be the judge...

Ever envied a Victoria?

This goes for the girls and 'queens' alike out there...

Victoria, victoria, victoria... What's in the name that make 'em the way they are?

Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom

This woman reigned over Great Britain and Ireland for 63 long years. Imagine that. It was a lifetime of being a Queen quite literally for her. Just wonder how crazy it is to have an 'era' of time named after you, wouldn't that be wonderful. Perhaps, in modern days her status won't be that envious, or maybe not to few people.

Victoria Beckham

Now, talking bout envious, I'm sure tons of girls around the world feels that way towards this one. Victoria Beckham, the Posh Spice, married to soccer superstar which a lot of girls would die for to have (David Beckham, DUH?!), a fashion ICON, hell of a money maker...what more can you ask for? She's just the perfect person who deserves Christian Siriano's fave expression 'FIERCE'!

Victoria's SECRET angels

Now, with this one, not only do women have great interest on what they wear, horny boys have a greater interest on spotting them wearing a bit too little pieces of fabric. Stunning hot girls with a figure to die for! Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! Some of Fashion industry's top models became household names when they joined in as Victoria's Secret Angels. Some of which are : Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima to name a few. Former Angels includes Giselle Bundchen, Yasmeen Ghauri, and former supermodel turned talk show host Tyra Banks. Made in the image of men's fantasy, and women's image of sexiness. By the way, their most recent fashion show would be on StarWorld 12 midnight today. I LOVE Heidi Klum!!!

Flashback from the 80s and 90s...

Here are some snippets from what I got in the library Filipiniana section. Let's look back on how (JOLOGS) they were before where Gary V. looks a bit Michael Jackson-ish, Ian Veneracion still have no facial hair, and the girls have their hair sort of poofed up...See what I mean.
I can imagine now, perhaps when we grow older and we'll look on ourselves through fotos, I can hear us saying how JOLOGS we were. Folks, I guess we all have our time to be JOLOGS. It's just something to get through and get over with. :P

Just heard myself on the RADIO...

Yeah folks I called again in the Good Times with Mo show and this time I heared myself on the radio. The last time I called, I have to turn off my radio here just to be sure not to get feedbacks over the air which apparently didn't happen today when I forgot to turn it off...

Today, I tried one of their games: Name their private Parts with Superheroes... I got Juggernaut (for Mo), Shrinking Violet (Mojo) and Batwoman (for Grace Lee) which they thought that Bat Cave could have been better. The Juggernaut name got me a DingDingDing by Mo but unfortunately no prize. SAYANG! Anyway, it was way cooler this time than the first one... Geeezzz LUIZ I can get used to this...One day I'll have one of those prizes! BWAHAHAHA (obsessed laugh)!!!

A Tribute to my famous celebrity "friends"...

Yeah, yeah right! We're not close as in close or what so ever. Baket? Masama bang mangarap? But What's real here is that sometime, somewhere over the net we've encountered each other... Now I pay tribute to these people that somehow, in some weird way, they knew I existed on the other side of the world...

Nigel Barker

I once had this blog site on Wordpress and wrote an article there about Mr. Nigel Barker. In my surprise he replied on it. People I've proven that it's no bogus person who commented on it, I assure you it's genuine (check it out here: "It sucks not to see Mr. Barker"). Thanks once again to Mr. Nigel Barker for the comment. It means a lot to me and I'll be forever be greatful for that. If ever I'll have the chance to meet you please, please sir give me an autograph! Hehehe!

Brian Gorell

I love this guy because he's super nice sa YM. Such a funny person too. To Brian, once again, good luck on your fight. You're way better than Pacquiao, trust me. GucciGang has almost fallen down, thanks to this guy! Kudos Brian!

Yam Laranas

with Jesse Bradford...
Just came in... Just like Mr. Barker, one of my posts got into his attention which was the trailer of his movie "The Echo". Getting more and more excited to know that soon enough, it would be hitting our favorite cinemas. Watch it, it's damn cool!

Finally... trailer of The Echo

It seems like it has a deeper story behind it than the original one. Definitely pumped up with the techniques that made Yam Laranas a rising new director in the Hollywood scene. Enjoy the trailer...

Holy S***, I made it to Mo's Show!

I just can't believe I made it. I've been planning to call the show so many, many times before and its just now that I actually pulled it up. First time to call, extra ultra shy in public speaking, gosh! I almost died... Hahaha! I hate it, I stumbled!

Anyway, I called up because of the whole Manny Pacquiao topic. I just said that I just don't like him winning and stuff that I wrote here yesterday. F*** I can't even type normally now. EHEM... (Sharpay & Ryan before show rituals)...

About the call, it was like: dial, busy; redial, busy; redial, busy; redial, shoot! I got through... I was thinking like, I'm screwed, what am I gonna say, why did I call at all and stuff like that. For a first timer, man was that a nerve rackin thing to do even if you're not physically infront of the listeners literally. Bear with me guys, I'm not a public speaker type of guy. I admit, I suck at this. Back to the call experience. When I got through, (I think Mo answered it personally or someone else other than the three) and the guy sounded like he's bored as hell (without me starting to say anything ha!). The dude said, so what's your topic, better make it energetic or else I won't put you on air, stuff like that so I was like whoa better make it good on air, blood started rushin to my head, etc. And then, the show went on air again after a break and SHOOT I'm seconds from being on the show. BLAH! BLAH! BLAH! All in all, I think it was not that bad yet it's not my definition of good at all. WAAAHHH! Sana may nakarinig man lang sa inyo kahit isa! Hehehe! Good times...
