Lesson learned...be UPDATED!!!

To make up with my previous post about my faulty information, yes, indeed the Potter film was moved to July 19th next year. F*ck right? Next time, be updated Jio ok?! haha! Pinagalitan sarili! haha! So anyway, anyhow, here's a message from Alan Horn, President of Warner Bros. posted in the official Harry Potter film site...

Many of you have written to me to express your disappointment in our moving "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" to Summer 2009. Please be assured that we share your love for Harry Potter and would certainly never do anything to hurt any of the films. Over the past 10 years, we have nurtured and protected each film, and the integrity of the books upon which they are based, to the best of our ability. The decision to move "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" was not taken lightly, and was never intended to upset our Harry Potter fans. We know you have built this series into what it is, and we thank you for your ongoing enthusiasm and support. If I may offer a silver lining: there would have been a two-year gap between "Half-Blood Prince" and the much-anticipated first part of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," which opens in November 2010. So although we have to wait a little longer for "Half-Blood Prince," the wait from that film until "Deathly Hallows" will be less than 18 months. I am sorry to have disappointed you now, but if you hold on a little longer, I believe it will be worth the wait.

Alan Horn
President, Chief Operating Officer
Warner Bros.

Then again...I feel dumb right now...hehe! So I guess Twilight won the bet after all...

It was something like the line..."I got stinky, I got dirty but ssssee...I learned...Sorry na ha?"...LOL

what to watch first?!? Harry Potter or Twilight?

Apparently, two amazing movies, both were adapted from books, will premiere in the same place at the same time...

I'm talking bout "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and the "Twilight" movie. For quite some time now I've learned that the fifth installment of the Harry Potter film series will premiere on November 20th this year. And as for Twilight movie, I just found out, as in today, that it will be on the same date. Funny thing that the said play date for these films would be earlier than in the US.

Of course I do know what to watch first. I mean, DUH!?, HP fan here through and through? So know doubt, not even a slight chance that there would be a change of heart for me here, that I'll watch the HP film first. I'm asking bout yours! VOTE for your choice!!!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Twilight
I really do think that this guy here looks a bit Brad Pitt-ish in the movie interview with a vampire (incedentally this guy's a vampire too) and the girl looks so much like Hermione Granger (Emma Watson)... Don't you think so?

Half Blood Prince Trailer SOON -- I guess...

Any time soon I believe it would be seen live over the net... I'm not sure if I can watch it on time though. But I'm pretty sure that it will be on YouTube soon enough. For the mean time here are some stills from the Half Blood Prince movie...

the dark knight, the mummy, or wall-e?

Darn it! Haven't seen any of these three but I think I'll see Wall-e first! Me and my "special someone" watched a movie last week and we saw all the trailers. In one word, AMAZING! The Batman movie as you know was already out there just this week. If there's one thing that makes me super intrigued with this movie, it would have to be Heath Ledger playing the Joker. That alone, I belive, attract the movie goers. Super controversial that he was and this movie as his last appearance, I mean that's a really good reason to watch it don't you think? Such a talent and such a great loss.

The third "Mummy" movie trailer made me hold on my seat and just amazed me. Forget about the whole Egyptian mummy thing. From Egypt, they will bring us to the great ancient Chinese civilization with no less than Jet Li playing the Dragon Emperor. It is a power cast actually though I was a bit disappointed that the one to play the role of Brendan Fraser's wife (originally Rachel Weisz) was changed. Let's just see if it'll work. Just like the first two "mummy' movies, the FX are superb and the set and costumes were brought into a new level. UHHH can't wait!

Now this one's super cute! We've seen Will Smith play the "last man" on earth and we've already seen some end of the world type of movies. This time, it's the last robot. If you want something lite, funny, cool and ultra cute movie, this is IT! At first I thought that it's just your ordinary kiddie movie but hell NO it's not. Soon enough I'll be watching it in the comfort of my home. Downloaded of course! Hehehe!

There you go folks, my top three latest movies as of the moment. I just wish I can watch 'em all in the cinemas if I'll get the chance...

can your EGO handle this?

What's the most gruesome and cruel movie you've ever seen? Mine, I believe is one of the world's most disturbing film ever existed. I'm not talking about a horror film, nor a war decumentary. In this film you can literally see a devil in a human form.
Salò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (Salo or 120 Days in Sodom). It was a 1975 Italian movie directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini. This was a film adaptation from the book written by Marquis de Sade. The movie depicts the 18th century France to the last days of Mussolini's regime in the Republic of Salò. In my opinion, in this movie you will see the higest form of human degradation. Rape, torture, mutilation: though the film was claimed to be highly symbolic and metaphorical, it could have been the real deal. It does include nudity and sexual acts but if you're thinking of pornography, it's clearly not. In fact, it's the exact opposite for in this film instead of pleasure, sex was shown in the form of excrutiating pain.
The film was then very, very controversial that up to now, it's banned in a lot of countries around the globe. It had been Pasolini's last movie for he was killed before the film was released.
